Jason Ma
Jason Ma is happy to return to the company of Miss Saigon. His initial association with this production marked his fourth appearance in an original Broadway cast, including creating roles in Shogun and Prince of Central Park. Most recently, he appeared in M. Butterfly at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, garnering critical acclaim for his portrayal of the leading role Song Liling. Other regional credits include co-starring in the world premiere of Mikado Inc. at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Skimbleshanks in the Los Angeles company of Cats, Paul (Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award) in A Chorus Line and Matt in The Fantasticks at East West Players as well as other roles in Marge Champion's Lute Song at the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Bruinhaha (ASCAP Award) at the Kennedy Center. Jason is a magna cum laude graduate of UCLA where he returned to teach, choreograph and direct as a faculty member. He dedicates his performances to his family. (Broadway Theatre, 1993) |
