Darren YapThuy (Sydney) Darren graduated from Theatre Nepean in 1988. His theatre credits include the world premiere of Nick Enright's The Quartet from Rigoletto, Sydney Stories for the Sydney Theatre Company and the male/female lead in Gale Edwards' production of M. Butterfly for the Melbourne Theatre Company. Also, Capricornia for the State Theatre Company, Shadow and Splender for the Adelaide Festival and Cockroach Opera and Six Chapters of a Floating Life for Belvoir Street. Musicals include Jim Sharman's The Wedding Song, Chess and the original cast of Anything Goes. Television work includes the character of Kevin in Over the Hill, and the role of David in the critically acclaimed The Leaving of Liverpool for the ABC. Guest roles include Heartland, GP, Boney, Embassy, Mission Impossible, A New Ball Game, Richmond Hill and the mini-series, Tanamera. Darren has also appeared in the film, Seeing Red.
